Job Description:
In general, manufacturing engineers use their knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing systems and methods. This may involve: Perform time & motion studies on a large number of repetitive labor intensive manufacturing tasks. Assist in updating safety procedures. Setting production standards and changing production Manufacturing methods and automating processes. Prepare technical reports, proposals and other communications. Prepare required documentation, update manuals, and provide information regarding work conducted for input onto the computerized maintenance management system.

Level(s): Bachelors
Requirements:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Cutting, Forming, Machining, Welding)
Experience with 3D cad software - solid works
The desire to work in a plant & office environment
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work in a team environment and have strong people skills.
The ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
