Engineered Air is one of North America’s largest manufacturers of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and energy recovery and heat transfer products. Engineered Air’s integrated sales, design and manufacturing groups enable the company to produce equipment that is designed to fit a specific project’s requirements.

Engineered Air is looking for a CAD Drafter to join the team within a fast paced environment. We are a manufacturer of custom HVAC equipment with offices across North America. Engineered Air offers remuneration packages that include industry competitive salary and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide AutoCAD support for cleanroom sales, design and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare detailed layout and production drawings, including but not limited to isometric drawings, special construction details, sectional views and weldment details.
• Use appropriate dimensioning and tolerances to convey fabrication intent.
• Maintain and update AutoCAD drawings for cleanroom projects including structural, mechanical, lighting and fire protection details.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned or become necessary to fulfill the company’s responsibilities and needs with respect to the business.
• Travel to various locations in the US and Canada for training purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• The ability to travel to various locations in the US and Canada

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines is essential.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing procedures and techniques.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment and have strong people skills.
• The ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Cope well under pressure; meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced growing organization.
• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
