Engineered Air is a manufacturer of custom Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Units and has challenging career opportunities available. We are seeking self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to join our design/production/service teams in an engineering or technologists capacity. As a new employee you commence a training program, depending on experience and ability, that will be up to two years in length. Responsibilities:
Preparation of equipment performance data and specifications Detailed mechanical layout of air handling units Special construction details Hydronic or gas piping schematics Electrical wiring schematics Complete description of control sequence of operation
Experience/Skills Required:
Mechanical or electrical degree / diploma in engineering or technology Registration or eligible for registration with a provincial engineering or certified engineering technology association including In Training programs. (P.Eng., E.I.T., C.E.T. or T.T.) One to two years of related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous but not necessary. Experience in HVAC systems, control systems, AutoCAD and MS Windows is desirable Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines is essential.
